Balance Staffing - Austin is hiring: Warehouse Associate in Round Rock

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm - $17.00 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Operators must inspect parts for defects on a Production Line to ensure that only quality conforming products are packaged. Operators must always follow safe practices and company policies and procedures.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, but are not limited to :

• Inspecting parts for quality compliance
• Trimming any excess flash completely and consistently
• Removing part runners/sprues with drill, cutters, knives or other tools to ensure smooth and consistent product finis
• Responsible for any secondary part treatment such as assembly, part fixturing, annealing, wiping, spraying, branding or torching.
• Responsible for safe and proper use of air tools, drill press, torch, blades, clamps, cutters, weights, spray booths, T-nutter, brander
• Responsible for hand wrapping, bagging, boxing, stacking product per relevant and pulling packaging materials from WIP as needed
• Responsible for finishing pack-out in line to a desired point for safe movement
• Responsible for all intermediate packaging including internal taping, strapping (between tiers), wrapping, corner and v boards
• Responsible for properly segregating, collecting and packaging defective parts

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. (manufacturing preferred)
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and have dexterity as necessary to perform the job.
• Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to prioritize work.
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced non climate controlled environment.
• Must be able to work in an environment with a high level of noise.
• Must be able to read Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
