Senior Tax and Accounting Manager (CPA Required)
Job title: Senior Tax and Accounting Manager
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Location: Plymouth , MA 02360-- This is a Hybrid position 2 days in the office required
A leading CPA firm on the South Shore of Massachusetts is seeking a Manager to join its client-focused team environment! We’re looking for an accounting professional for heavy senior or manager level tax and accounting work. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional capable of dealing with complex tax matters as well as financial reporting issues, directing others, and reviewing their work.
This position includes a potential path to partner and allows for in office and remote work and flexible scheduling. We are a preferred provider of tax and accounting services and business guidance on the South Shore. We primarily work with small businesses across many
industries and some non-profit organizations and related individuals. We offer bookkeeping, tax compliance, preparation of compilations and reviews, and cash flow planning, as well as general business consulting services.
Experience level:
- 5 years
Experience:
- Tax experience: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPA (Preferred)
Job Duties include:
- Individual and business tax return preparation
- Preparation of reviewed and compiled financial statements
- Preparation and/or review of business accounting tax workpapers
- Review of tax returns
Required Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience as an Accounting Professional
- At least three tax seasons in a CPA practice preparing both entity and individual tax returns
- Accounting degree and active CPA license
- Advanced skills using QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and Outlook required
- Familiarity with Ultra Tax and Thompson Reuters software preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
