Business Analyst
Lake Shore Associates (LSA) seeks a Technical Business Analyst to bolster our client's ventures within Learning, Employee Engagement, & Employee Retention domains. The perfect candidate will possess robust data analytical abilities, a track record of collaborating with IT and Technology teams, adeptness in technical documentation, and business acumen necessary for supporting client technology implementations. Additionally, familiarity with technology solutions underpinning the Cornerstone Learning Management System and Edcast Learning Experience Platform by Cornerstone is preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Review and analyze business and system requirements in support of implementing software solutions.
· Perform requirement and systems analysis, supporting design and data preparation for development of software solutions.
· Act as a liaison by working with multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies and requirements for the IT organization.
· Responsible for ensuring unique business needs are properly translated to functional specifications and supported by the system solution.
· Organize and present complex technical information effectively.
· Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
· Work both independently and as an integral member of a team.
· Analyze data and data elements needed to support implementation of software solutions.
· Work collaboratively with business team members, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), technical teams and project managers on projects during all phases of software development life cycle.
Required Qualifications:
· At least 5 years of Technical Business Analysis experience is required.
· Exposure working with technology solutions supporting Cornerstone Learning Management System and Edcast Learning Experience Platform by Cornerstone.
· Strong analytical skills and experience working in a consulting environment.
· Experience in data analysis, functional/technical design, data normalization, and user acceptance testing.
· At least 3 years in Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, SharePoint).
· Experience building and maintaining technical system documentation including application programming interfaces (API), data elements, Service Level Agreements (SLA), and error handling).
