Construction Superintendent

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. Responsibilities Understand all phases of residential and commercial construction. Understands scopes of work and project drawings/blueprints with the ability to maintain job-site "as-built/record" drawings. Able to create and regularly update a critical path construction schedule. Onsite management of all subcontractors, including ability to confirm subcontractor layout aligns with construction documents, coordination of all necessary project inspections, and scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and material deliveries. Conducts daily quality checks per the company’s quality control guidelines to detect deficiencies early, ensuring subcontractors are engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to ensure schedule adherence. Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules. Responsible for project safety for subcontractors and maintaining a clean and orderly site. Timely completion of all internal and design team punch lists. Manage compliance with all site reporting requirements, such as daily reports (filed electronically on iPad), field purchase orders, weekly updates to the “two-week outlook schedules” and monthly updates to the master construction schedule. Satisfy the customer, subcontractors, vendors and the company. Be sensitive to special requirements of the customer, subs, vendors or neighbors to ensure satisfactory relations. Team player, including excellent written and oral communication skills. Other duties as required. Qualifications At least 5 years of high-end residential construction experience. Commercial construction experience preferred. Strong business acumen in project planning and management. A licensed contractor (B or C license) is a strong asset, but not required. Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills with excellent communication ability to other employees, subcontractors, and clients. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Familiarity with common technology and software including Google Docs. Clean driving record and ability to regularly commute to job sites using provided company truck and gas, approximately 4 days per week. Work Environment, Pay, and Benefits We operate a hybrid workplace for project managers/working foremen, depending on company needs, typically expecting 4 days a week on-site or in the office and one day per week at home. However, in high-need times, 5 days per week will be required. We offer qualified, full-time employees employer-sponsored health insurance. Danbuilt Inc. offers a salary of $60,000-$100,000 for this position, depending on relevant skills and experience, with higher salary band allocated to superintendents experienced in and able to do on-site work when needed.
