Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Psychiatry in Pennsylvania

Job Title: Physician – Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Job Specialty: Psychiatry - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Job Duration: 12 months Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm, 40 Hours per week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Experience with psychiatric medication management and recent experience treating children License: Active license in Pennsylvania required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) required - Board Certification in Psychiatry required Must-Have: - Experience with anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, development disorders, psychotic disorders, organic disorders - Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application Job Description: - Provide psychiatric services in an outpatient day treatment center and office/clinic setting. - Conduct new evaluations and follow-up appointments. - Employ treatment techniques including pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive mental health care. - Utilize expertise in managing a variety of psychiatric disorders among children and adolescents. - Commit to a professional practice that adheres to the legal, ethical, and professional guidelines within the specialty.
