The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing insightful financial analysis, strategic recommendations, and decision support to senior management. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and collaborating with various departments to provide key insights to support the growth and efficiency of our organization. Additionally, this role is an integral team member in the month-end and year-end financial closing process such as analysis, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting

Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, to evaluate and improve the financial performance of individual locations and the organization as a whole Prepare, review, and post month-end journal entries to accurately reflect financial transactions and assist in the month-end closing process Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles General ad-hoc reports as needed, providing insights and actionable recommendations 2. Process Improvement

Evaluate existing financial processes and recommend improvements to streamline operations, enhance efficiency and improve financial performance 3. Strategic Planning and Decision Support

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models and support strategic initiatives Provide financial guidance and recommendations to assist in decision-making processes, including investment opportunities and cost-saving strategies 4. Communication

Collaborate with other departments to address financial questions, provide support, and improve financial processes Communicate complex financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders, facilitating understanding and informed decision-making Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred Proven experience (1+ years) in financial analysis, preferably within a healthcare or multi-location service organization. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, other Microsoft Office Products and financial software/systems. Ability to manage multiple processes and prioritize appropriately Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, changing environment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to also focus on big picture ideas and goals
