The HQ AFRL Domestic Partnership Division (SPD) seeks to fill the mid-level, DO-03 position of Acquisition Program Management Specialist located within the HQ AFRL Strategic Partnerships (SP) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The individual will serves as a program manager and acquisition liaison supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Independent Research and Development (IR&D) coordination effort.

Additional position duties include, but are not limited to: Providing advice on policy and guidance development to DAF, HQ AFRL, MAJCOMs and field focal points in sister services, laboratories, product, test, and logistics centers. Building and managing relationships with industry technology developers and executives, and manages a team that reviews industry and military databases in search of technologies relevant to Air Force and Space Force technology requirements. Coordinating/facilitating with SMEs from DAF, Army, Navy, and other Defense/Federal Agencies, IR&D Technology Interchange Meetings (TIMs) with industry to provide situational awareness of and influence upon industry funded R&D to DAF R&D, acquisition, and operational principals. Coordinateing with OSD, Army, and Navy IR&D managers and prepares reports in response to requests from DAF, DoD, OMB, and Congress. Coordinates and oversees business processes, policies, reporting, program data management, schedule, and financial strategy in support of DAF IR&D activities. Supporting HQ AFRL leadership and Technical Directorate management in strategic planning and communication of IR&D-related strategies to stakeholders internal and external to AFRL. Serving as a primary focal point for the DAF IR&D function on behalf of the AFRL HQ Front Office Group. U.S. Citizenship Ability to obtain and maintain an appropriate security clearance. This may be identified as a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing. Ability to achieve/maintain DoD PM Certification and APDP Certification levels relevant to the position. At least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade (DO-2 or equivalent) in other pay systems. Desired Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in a related field is highly valued. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in federal acquisition, program/project management. Additional Information
