About Our Client
Our client is a full service construction company established over 20 years ago that has an in house development team to complement the main construction arm. While the firm's bread and butter is multifamily / high-rise buildings, they have continued to venture into some very unique projects in the entertainment, hospitality, and retail markets as well.
Job Description
Organize project documents and proactively review and process submittal data and shop drawings Complete subcontractor evaluations and comparisons of bids Distribute 2 week look aheads and full project schedules Ensure subcontractors have up to date scopes of work Collect and distribute drawings from subcontractors, review drawings with the Project Manager and Superintendent Ensure RFI's and change orders are updated on as-built drawings MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
B.S. in construction management, civil engineering, or related discipline 3-5 years of experience with a general contractor required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Negotiation skills Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks MS Office Suite Procore and Sage 300 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications Ability to identify critical path items and long lead items What's on Offer
A competitive base salary between $80,000-$100,000 (Depending on Experience) Competitive bonus structure, project/profit based.
