Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for performing duties in support of the implementation of Senate Bill (SB) 1137 (Gonzalez, Chapter 385, Statutes of 2022). The incumbent will perform complex technical analytical assignments to support oil and gas operations, location restrictions, notice of intention, health protection zones, sensitive receptors, mapping, and data resources. The incumbent will analyze, research, compile documentation, review and write reports, create lists, track spreadsheets, update and maintain District databases and spreadsheets for Division reports. The incumbent will develop processes to enhance and effectively track and monitor projects to ensure compliance with state and federal policies and regulations. The incumbent will perform complex technical analytical assignments, works independently, and make recommendations.

Working Conditions
This position is located in Bakersfield, CA and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule. Employees must reside in California and be able to satisfactorily perform their essential work functions independently and remotely. The hybrid telework schedule will allow for up to three days of remote work per week depending on department needs.
