This opportunity features a growing team of motivated and technically-skilled contributors, the potential to travel to domestic and international locations, and experience integrating cutting-edge technology like unmanned systems, AI/ML, and data compilation. This role will bring significant job satisfaction to anyone interested in ensuring the seamless deployment, scaling, and management of applications in a cloud environment to support the Department of Navy's fleet operations and exercises.
Responsibilities:
Provide project management support to client to include managing project schedules and providing recommendations on policy, project briefs, and risk management.
Assist with development of Integrate Master Schedule (IMS). Collaborate with data lead, cloud architects, and systems engineers to complete items on the Integrated Master Schedule. Evaluate current processes and procedures and initiate process improvement actions. Translate ideas from whiteboard discussions to formal briefs to VIPs. Coordinate, schedule, and attend meetings, reviews, working groups and conferences. Capture meeting minutes; assign and track action items; coordinate and facilitate working groups to meet project objectives. Act as extension of client at weekly meetings, working groups, conferences, etc. Communicate notes and action items from meetings to the client. Assist with business analyses and reporting for assigned project. Establish and maintain knowledge management best practices utilizing a common workspace for team projects on SharePoint, for simplified document retrieval, correlation, and analysis of completed tasks. Coordinate briefs, agenda preparation, travel, clearance submissions, visit requests, video conferences, meeting minutes, and action items for regular and as required meetings. Gain and maintain sufficient knowledge of all enterprise tools and team structure to direct personnel to correct points of contact. Augment the primary and secondary duties of client. Required Qualifications:
Security Clearance: Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance Proficient with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) General familiarity with NAVWAR Enterprise Comfort around highly technical concepts and discussions Ability to multi-task and meet deliverable deadlines Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical skills Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in project/program management Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Power Apps BA/BS in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Project Management or Business Knowledge of C4I systems and NAVWAR processes and procedures
