Position: Social Strategist
Location: NYC (hybrid)
Duration: ongoing (potential for Full-time)
Rate $40-45/hr
The Social Strategist will play a crucial role in managing social strategy and content creation for a high-profile sports event campaign. Working closely with Brand Strategists, Creatives, Account teams, and Project Managers, this individual will be responsible for developing innovative and engaging digital and social media activations.
Prior experience working on the Super Bowl is highly preferred.
Responsibilities: - Develop a comprehensive social strategy for a launch event, including pre and post-event coverage. - Create social briefs and provide creative teams with clear direction for both organic and paid content. - Ideate, pitch, and execute unique digital and social media activations to produce breakthrough content. - Collaborate with creative teams by offering strategic insights at all project stages. - Develop and implement content calendars through review and strategic guidance. - Deliver presentations to clients and internal teams showcasing strategy, content ideas, and results. - Conduct ongoing social listening to identify opportunities for actionable insights that optimize content based on competitive intelligence data.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of solid strategy experience in social media within an agency or media agency - A passion for staying up-to-date on emerging trends, memes, viral topics across various platforms. - Proficiency using social media tools such as
Brandwatch or Sprout - Experience with media planning best practices is desired. - Self-starter mindset with excellent collaboration skills. - Strong organizational abilities to manage deadlines effectively. - Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
