Outdoor Cap seeks a Business Intelligence Developer to be
responsible for building new enterprise data warehouse to serve as the single source of truth for all reporting and analytics for the company going forward; responsible for executive level ad-hoc reporting for the more complex data & reporting needs; collates data from various IT systems (ERP, Product Development System, Manufacturing System) to develop decision support service such as dynamic data reports; responsible for executive level ad-hoc reporting for the more complex data & reporting needs; applies data modeling techniques (such as Entity Relationship Diagrams) to extract information from large databases; utilizes Power BI, data, and analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information by developing refreshable and dynamic KPI reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis support for the business; performs data analysis utilizing appropriate analytics methodologies and fosters data-driven decision-making by providing valuable consultative analytics support to sales and executive leadership.; serves as a trainer for the BI team supporting other BI analysts for report automation, technical support, and knowledge sharing; serves as backup database administrator for the assets defined in enterprise data warehouse; works with business partners, data analysts, IT to define data requirements and executes to streamline the data collection, transformation, and visualization; supports the sales team in all their reporting and analytics needs that includes daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting. Requires a Bachelor of Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, plus 24 months of experience in Operational Research Analysis. Requires experience with SQL Power BI Stack tools and technologies, Power Query, Power BI, and Data Modeling
