The Corporate Accountant will perform accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles to control the organizations financial resources and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements. Responsibilities: Prepares account reconciliations and journal entries to ensure accurate and complete general ledger on a timely basis. Analyzes financial results and accounting records to provide management with feedback for business decision making. Receives, validates, and processes invoices timely, accurately, and in accordance with the organization's accounts payable policy and procedures. Reviews and analyzes customer accounts for payment progress and determines appropriate course of action based on customer history, balance outstanding and age of receivables. Prepares bank reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate monitoring of cash and prepares weekly cash forecasts used by management for assessing working capital requirements. Prepares and executes various financial reports and accounting internal control activities so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions. These reports may include profit and loss statements, balance sheets, depreciation statements, cash flow, debtor and creditor lists, repayment schedules, regulatory reports and filings. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent number of years of experience 6 - 8 years of experience in accounting is required CPA certification preferred Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data Must be highly skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets, MS Office and accounting ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations preferred, but not required). Strong problem-solving skills, basic account principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis, and multi-tasking skills
Wage Scale:
$55,000 - $75,000
