We currently have a position open for Staff Accountant with PAG's Corporate office in Atlanta, GA.
JOB PURPOSE
We have an immediate opportunity for a Staff Accountant to utilize experience, knowledge, skills and abilities to maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and to assist with the timely reporting of accurate financial information. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions: Maintain the fixed asset ledger, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposals Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Process standard and recurring journal entries Assist Accounting Manager with timely month-end close Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports Assist and prepare documentation and reports for External Auditors Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and propose needed adjustments Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and company policies Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed Other accounting duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands:
Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 20 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Education/Training:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Experience:
Ideally, at least 1 year of related experience in general accounting, or related field preferred.
