About Our Client
Our client offers a complete range of services from kickoff to execution for light commercial projects. They have a proven track record in the construction industry and have become one of the top mid-sized general contractors in the Indianapolis area.
Job Description
Foster and maintain positive relationships with owners, owner representatives, architects, designers, property managers, consultants, and subcontractors. Ensure clear communication and effective delegation among all team members. Mentor, coach, and train Assistant Project Managers. Oversee financial management for all project phases, including estimating, bidding, cost tracking, and project closeout. Attend pre-bid and site review meetings. Estimate construction budgets and review or prepare bid packages. Lead meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Monitor the performance of project superintendents, ensuring all subcontracted trades meet the highest industry standards. Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating the scope of work for all trades. Manage owner contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and associated change orders. Coordinate and document weekly project site meetings. Handle all submissions and inspections required by governing agencies. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture 10+ years of experience in Construction, experience managing multiple projects at a time Ability to run projects from inception through close-out Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical. Extensive knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients What's on Offer
