Position: Salesforce Solution Architect with Presales
Location: Washington, DC (1 day in a week)
Job Summary:
As a Salesforce Solution Architect with Presales expertise, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Salesforce implementations by providing strategic guidance, designing innovative solutions, and leading presales activities. You will collaborate closely with sales teams and clients to understand business requirements, architect scalable solutions, and articulate the value proposition of Salesforce offerings. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead presales engagements by understanding client needs, conducting discovery sessions, and crafting tailored solutions that align with business objectives. Collaborate with sales teams to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that showcase the capabilities of Salesforce products and services. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on Salesforce platform capabilities, best practices, and industry trends. Architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions that address complex business challenges, encompassing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, and other Salesforce products. Design scalable and sustainable solution architectures, considering factors such as data integration, security, performance, and extensibility. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and solution designs, ensuring alignment with Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations. Lead solution design sessions with clients and internal stakeholders, facilitating discussions to gather requirements, identify gaps, and define solution roadmaps. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams, guiding developers, administrators, and consultants in implementing Salesforce solutions. Stay updated with the latest Salesforce innovations, certifications, and industry trends, sharing knowledge and insights with the team and clients. Collaborate with Salesforce product teams, partners, and third-party vendors to leverage emerging technologies and enhance solution offerings. Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Extensive experience (5+ years) working with Salesforce platform, including hands-on experience in solution architecture, configuration, and customization. Proven track record of leading presales engagements, architecting complex Salesforce solutions, and delivering successful implementations. Salesforce certifications such as Certified Application Architect, Certified System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect are highly desired. Deep understanding of Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Lightning Platform, and integration capabilities. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client needs, articulate value propositions, and align solutions with business objectives. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Experience in Agile methodologies and project management practices is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing requirements. Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, workshops, and conferences.
