We are hiring a Hybrid Territory Sales and New Business Development Representative.

The Hybrid Territory Sales and New Business Development representative is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share within a designated territory. This role involves a combination of new business development and account management to secure inspection contracts, as well as the follow up repairs, new equipment, and modernization services to

existing customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

New Business Development:

Identify and target potential new customers within the overhead crane industry. Conduct cold calls and outreach to generate leads and schedule meetings. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to secure inspection contracts mandated by OSHA. Negotiate and close deals to meet sales targets.

Territory Management:

Manage and maintain existing customer relationships. Upsell additional services, including repairs, new equipment, and modernizations. Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local market and competitive landscape. Plan and execute sales activities within the assigned territory. Track sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

Proven experience in sales, preferably within the overhead crane or material handling industry. Strong new business development skills, including cold calling and lead generation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Self-motivated and results oriented. Experience in Business Development, account management or customer relationship management. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards. Experience with overhead crane equipment and operations.
