Branch Manager
at our Waddell Power subsidiary warehouse in
Peoria, Illinois . The Branch Manager is responsible for the operations pertaining to the warehouse, warehouse personnel, and Sales Representatives. The Branch Manager is responsible for increasing sales and service revenue while controlling expenses. The Branch Manager responsibility is to meet corporate objectives while promoting a safe and productive working environment. The Branch Manager is directly involved in all aspects of hiring and developing the sales team, service technician and all support staff. The Branch Manager is committed to the company's success while upholding East Penn Company policies and culture.
Estimated salary range: $90,000 - $100,000
Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.
Responsibilities
Responsible for properly managing sales, service technicians, support staffing, equipment, and a warehouse facility, safely and profitably achieving maximum efficiencies. Manage and direct staff of sales personnel to meet sales goals and objectives.
Sales: Manage assigned accounts Develop and coach sales team Develop strong customer relationships by working in the field with each Sales Team member Attend open houses and customer events with Sales Team Participate and conduct training sessions for employees and customers Review and understand all National and OEM Account program details Ensure Sales Team is complying with Salesforce and expense reporting Conduct weekly/bi-weekly individual sales review meetings with sales team members Conduct quarterly sales meetings Responsible for maximizing P&L results Develop annual business plans Demonstrate positive motivation and commitment to meet goals and deadlines Resolve customer issues and provide outstanding customer relations. Provide competitive information to the Director Submit all required reports to the Director in a timely and professional manner Understand and maximize the efficiency of each Sales Team member Operations:
Establish and manage a safe and efficient operational staff Review all Branch expenses Assist in development of operating and capital expenses Work with sales Team to develop appropriate inventory levels based on current business climate Ensure the Branch is in compliance with all government rules, OSHA guidelines and company regulation Establish, communicate and enforce standards and expectations for customer relations to provide outstanding customer service Complete monthly OSHA checklist Participate in inventories to help monitor and control variance Establish standards with Service Manager on processes to assure maximum output productivity to meet customer demand Ensure that Company Code of Conduct is implemented, and disciplinary action is taken, when necessary, with support from Personnel Department Participate in in bi-weekly Branch conference call Leadership:
Ensure proper performance and organizational growth through effective recruitment, development, and succession planning Empower employees to take on more responsibilities Set goals and standards for the sales and operation teams that are obtainable and that lead to overall organization improvement Supports East Penn's open-door policy Cultivate a positive work environment that makes employees feel appreciated Identify key people within the Sales organization to mentor for professional advancement Demonstrate and support East Penn's Guiding Principles Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications
3 - 5 years sales experience Strong financial understanding (example: manage P&L, costing) Experience in a related field Education/Certification
High School diploma or equivalent required College degree preferred Skills & Competencies
