The role requires cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and interpreting telemetry strips every four hours. The clinician will care for ED border patients, serve as a medication nurse in the acute mental health unit, and care for non-vented patients who are transfer-ready in the ICU. The clinician-to-patient ratio for day and evening shifts is up to 5:1, and for night shifts, it is up to 6:1. The position requires experience with TR Band and familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as EPIC, Omnicell, and Kronos.
