Talkdesk seeks a highly motivated, analytical, and enthusiastic Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. Combining an understanding of finance, practical knowledge of financial statements and using data to make-and-drive decisions, this candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions, drive Talkdesk growth, and ensure financial objectives are achieved.
Responsibilities:
Present strategic guidance and actionable recommendations to GTM team leaders and executives to influence the business and serve as a trusted partner Provide analytical and business support with financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, close responsibilities, and annual plan processes Prepare dynamic monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyze financial results, distill/synthesize key trends, assess current and future business risk, and communicate key messages to senior leadership Develop new processes and tools to drive scalable analysis and insights Build strategic reports and present scenario models for efficient allocation of resources to projects/products to senior leadership Create models and ad hoc analysis to help management evaluate the impact of decisions on short and long term plans Become embedded with business partners across the company, establishing trust, building relationships and gaining a deep understanding of relevant drivers Requirements:
3+ years of relevant finance experience preferred; SaaS experience strongly preferred Strong financial and operational planning skills Solid problem solving ability and experience working through ambiguity or unknown datasets. You take initiative and are adept at influencing external stakeholders to achieve a common goal Ability to influence at all levels of an organization with an emphasis on partnering with the various business leaders Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with experience developing and delivering presentations Expertise in building Excel-based financial models, with an emphasis on aggregating and analyzing data to provide actionable insights Approach work with curiosity, an eye for detail, and strong initiative Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and accounting principles Experience with Financial and ERP systems, such as Adaptive Insights and Netsuite Experience with supporting the GTM organization and forecasting/analyzing
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work.
