Job Summary

We are seeking a DevOps Cloud Engineer to join the Health Technology Business Unit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering, with a focus on release automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role involves overseeing the release of new software versions, managing implementation processes, and optimizing system performance. The DevOps Cloud Engineer will work with advanced observability practices and collaborate within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop release automation scripts using existing resources and tools.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, supporting infrastructure, systems, and security configurations.

• Manage the release of new software versions and oversee the implementation process.

• Utilize Microsoft Azure for network, security, deployment, automation, and serverless technologies.

• Apply Kubernetes knowledge for release management, including GitOps practices with ArgoCD, Helm, or similar technologies.

• Implement advanced observability practices using tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, and SplunkCloud.

• Monitor system behavior and resource utilization to identify constraints and prepare for future scaling needs.

• Use technical design, development, and problem-solving skills to optimize system performance.

• Work hands-on with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.

• Collaborate within an Agile Software Development environment.

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in DevOps Cloud Engineering.

• Advanced Groovy scripting skills for Jenkins.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, ideally with relevant certification.

• Strong Kubernetes skills, including GitOps for release management.

• Proficiency with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, and SplunkCloud.

• Experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies.

Certifications

• Relevant Microsoft Azure certification is preferred.
