Description: The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing technology projects and contributing to the governance of regulatory programs within a financial services environment. This role involves leading project lifecycles, supporting program governance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful execution of initiatives. The Project Manager will also focus on risk management and strategic planning, driving both tactical and strategic initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Manage technology projects from problem identification through to successful implementation. Support governance activities related to regulatory programs. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks, proposing effective solutions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage program and project delivery from end to end. Develop and execute strategic plans to drive corrective actions, ensuring timely and efficient results. Partner with teams to review and finalize project deliverables before submission.
Required Skills: Minimum of five years of experience in project or program management, with a proven record of managing large-scale, cross-functional projects. Five years of experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of Capital Markets, Cash, Derivatives, Money Markets, or similar areas. Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and project management tools like Confluence. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and interact effectively with both technical and business teams. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to distill and present complex data in an understandable format.
Desired Skills: Experience working on high-impact projects in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Familiarity with governance frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements within financial institutions.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
