Description:

Are you a dynamic and self-motivated individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment? Are you interested in pursuing a career in the sports or entertainment industry? Do you have a passion for Major League Baseball?

The Athletics have a renowned Internship program and we are looking for interns for upcoming Spring Training! Spring Training Gameday Operations Interns will act as liaisons between the Athletics client relations unit and Athletics fans at every Athletics home game inside the gates of Hohokam Stadium.

Responsibilities: Participate in the overall stadium operations of Spring Training, including game day set up, in-game operations, and post-game reset Interact with fans throughout the stadium, assist them with any needs and day of game concerns Work alongside other departments such as sales, marketing, fan experience, event management, and ticket operations to provide excellent customer service Other responsibilities such as promotion distribution, fan experiences and more Required Qualifications:

Must be enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate college or university program or have graduated within the past 6 months A service mindset with excellent verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to take the initiative to provide solutions Smile, have fun and ask any questions that we can help you out with Strong attention to detail in a fast paced work environment Team oriented attitude with a "can do" service focus Ability to demonstrate professionalism and maturity when responding to staff and fans Must be able to work non-traditional hours for all fourteen 2025 Athletics Spring Training home games (February 23, February 25, February 27, February 28, March 2, March 6, March 7, March 10, March 12, March 14, March 15, March 17, March 21, March 22) in addition to some pre-season preparation and post-season wrap-up days Able to safely lift boxes up to 25 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods of time Previous experience working in events and in a customer relations role will be a plus

This is a great opportunity to learn about baseball gameday operations and gain some insight around Major League Baseball. We have a proven track record of promoting former interns to full-time positions such as Account Executives and other positions within the Athletics Front Office.
