Project Manager
Pieper Electric is hiring a Project Manager to manage construction projects. The Project Manager will manage safety, general contractor, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, profits, and sales growth of one or more customers or projects. Continually prospect for new customers and expand services into new regions within his/her area of responsibility. Conduct business in accordance with PPC and Pieper Electric, Inc. mission and vision statements.
Responsibilities:
Manage billing & collections Forecast what is to be done on a weekly basis, when, and by whom. Analyze and forecast factors that affect results to maximum efficiency. Develop appropriate programs, strategies, and supervision. Share manpower, resources, and tools with all projects, departments, and branches as needed. Develop and maintain relationships with customers; ensure high quality service is provided to guarantee repeat sales and favorable recommendations. Take prompt action to resolve any customer complaints Provide overall leadership to department while acting as a team player; lead by example; provide necessary and frequent communication to direct reports to ensure smooth and efficient operation of department Provide personnel development plans, monitoring, coaching, feedback, & growth opportunities to your direct reports Manage employee job performance, complete performance appraisals timely. Counsel, discipline, and terminate as necessary and in accordance with company policies High school education is required Two or Four-year construction-related degree or Journeyman background (4-5 year apprenticeship) also required (may be waived in the event of document, significant work background) 5-10 years prior experience, preferably in the electrical construction field Knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and budget processes Individual must be able to work independently, meet deadlines and budgets, work on multiple jobs simultaneously, and fulfill all job requirements within a timely fashion Ability to manage risk & profitability successfully Positive safety attitude and personal integrity - both are non-negotiable Be highly customer-service oriented; ability to create new and maintain current customers
