Purpose The goal of the Financial Accountant is to maintain, reconcile, and report, costs, expenses, fixed asset registers and performance of the company within a dynamic environment. The Financial Accountant will analyze and prepare the company's financial transactions in order to compile accurate and timely monthly financial statements.

Responsibilities

Ensures Accounts Payable for the month is correctly entered and posted including accruals Work with Purchasing group on outstanding items Sets up new assets, reviews and maintains Fixed Asset Register Process depreciation and amortization Perform intercompany rebill invoicing and confirm balances Prepare payment files biweekly, and set up payments in bank Calculates, prepares, posts a range of month end journals Performs Month End Process Prepare 1099's annually Compile information for Sales and Use tax returns monthly Prepare Property rendition for submission annually Participate in the year end audit process Prepare annual budget files Variance analysis for expenses between budget and actual Cross-training on processing expense reports through Concur Other duties as assigned Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related education is required Work experience

Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in a full cycle accounting role is required Proven experience with financial reporting requirements, general ledger functions and the month end/year end close processes and audits Additional information
