Aside from our base salary range, an employee with this position will also be eligible for the following:A general salary increase of3.5% effective December 22, 2024.Educational Incentive - An educational incentive of 2.5% for completion of an associate degree, 3.5% for completion of a bachelor's degree, OR 5% for completion of a graduate degree.Annual Leave - 208 hours per year, increasing to 288 hours after 5 years of service.Annual Leave Redemption - The ability to "cash in" or redeem up to 100 hours of Annual Leave per year after using 80 hours in the preceding twelve months.Deferred Compensation - Eligible to participate in the County's 401(k) Shared Savings Plan and/or the Section 457 Plan. The Department The Information Technology Services Department works with every Ventura County department/agency to provide the necessary technology infrastructure and consulting/contracting services to meet ongoing and emerging business needs, including project management, business process improvement, applications support, voice/data infrastructure, data security, threat and vulnerability/risk management, and extended staffing. The PositionUnder direction, the Network Services Technical Project Manager manages one or more technology teams involved in the development, testing, implementation, support, and maintenance of new or existing technology solutions. The Technical Project Manager will ensure project deliverables are being met and coordinate with other County agencies. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have extensive project management and some supervisory experience. The successful candidate will also be an effective communicator with all levels of the organization and be able to manage conflicting priorities as required. A bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is also highly desirable. Payroll Title: Manager-ITSD Projects Manager - ITSD Project is a management classification and is not eligible for overtime compensation. Incumbents in this position are eligible for benefits at the MB4 level.
