Senior Planning Manager

to oversee major capital projects within the Life Sciences and Industrial Manufacturing sectors.

In this pivotal role, you will lead the strategic delivery of key projects, manage client relationships, and ensure governance and risk analysis are effectively implemented. You will oversee scheduling from inception to completion, driving the successful delivery of high-impact, complex plans.

Responsibilities: Lead the execution of major life science and industrial manufacturing projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and overall project objectives. Monitor progress and provide strategic direction to drive successful project outcomes. Serve as the main point of contact for senior client stakeholders. Translate client objectives into actionable plans, ensuring governance and alignment with strategic priorities. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. Create comprehensive master schedules covering all phases, including commissioning, validation, and qualification. Integrate schedule-related data from vendors, suppliers, and construction teams to ensure accurate project tracking. Provide progress updates and prepare detailed client reports, including critical path assessments and schedule analysis. Proactively address potential delays and recommend corrective actions. Conduct critical path and risk analyses to identify potential scheduling issues. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to propose adjustments and maintain project timelines. Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree (MS or MBA preferred) in a relevant field. Professional qualification or membership in organizations such as APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, or equivalent. Extensive experience in planning and scheduling for engineering, procurement, and construction projects. Proven track record in delivering large-scale life sciences, manufacturing, or industrial projects, including commissioning and validation. Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, with the ability to create detailed master schedules and resource load schedules effectively. Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and contracting methodologies. Strong knowledge of schedule logic and start-up sequence dependencies. Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to engage and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. Ability to produce and present reports, including short-term look-a heads and high-level overviews, tailored to project needs.
