We are looking to hire a Planning Manager to lead and support major capital projects within the Life Sciences and Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
This role involves managing project planning, scheduling, and performance for complex programs. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in transformative, groundbreaking projects within a forward-thinking and dynamic industry.
Responsibilities: Oversee project scheduling, planning, and performance monitoring. Ensure alignment with client goals and project specifications. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project teams, and key stakeholders. Provide expert planning guidance and ensure clarity in all project communications. Foster an inclusive and supportive work environment that prioritizes team development and knowledge sharing. Uphold strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements. Promote a culture of safety-first across all project phases. Assist senior management in contract negotiations, business strategy, and ensuring due diligence across project lifecycles. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Construction Management, Planning, MSc, or MBA). Professional certifications such as PMI or AACE are highly desirable. 4 + years of experience in project planning or scheduling roles, particularly within life sciences, industrial manufacturing, or other capital-intensive sectors. Proficiency in planning software, including Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Excel capabilities. Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience in budget management and performance tracking. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex planning data effectively. Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities of the life sciences or industrial manufacturing industries.
