Job Description Summary Supports the organization's accounting activities, including financial record keeping and reporting. Maintaining records of the organization's financial activity in accordance with GAAP, organizational standards, and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use. Completing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to organization's financial performance, analysis, and reporting. Supports the organization's forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning process.
Job Description Assist in the development of the monthly financial forecasts, annual budget, and long-range financial plan (LRFP) Complete month-end reporting, financial variance analysis, and account reconciliations Analyze current and past financial data and performance, and prepare summaries and projections based on this analysis Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review and present financial information Assist in the preparation of monthly operating unit review meeting materials and other group meeting deliverables Participate in projects/activities to improve the quality and timeliness of the financial processes Assist operating departments in the analysis, communication, and interpretation of operational and financial data Support internal and external audit requests and control testing activities Frequent contact with associates outside the workgroup Performs other duties as required Required Skills and Education College Degree in Accounting or Finance.
