What you get to do (Essential Functions): Develops and manages project(s) budget and schedule. Ensures project team coordination to achieve project(s) scope, schedule, and budget. Stays abreast of industry standards, best practices, codes, and regulations as it relates to the projects assigned. Accountable for all project communication between customers and project team. Coordinate and facilitate project team meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation of meeting discussion, and follow up items. Provide ongoing communication about project decisions. Attends all planning and design meetings and participates in problem solving. Resolve problems and conflicts in contracts, negotiate change orders when required and keep contract cost data current as change orders increase or decrease the cost. Deliver projects on time and on budget. Plan projects with multiple departments and balance interdepartmental program demands, effectively managing competing interests. What We Expect From You:
Four-year engineering, architecture, business management, commercial design, construction management degree. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Five to Seven years of related experience in planning/design and commercial construction field Organizational skills are essential to success in this position. Ability to assume responsibility, interact and communicate with others. Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop Project Managers - Objective level. Proficiency in 0365 office suite. Experience with design and construction experience specific to healthcare and / or senior living industries. Understanding of the development process will determine their level of responsibility overseeing the full array of project management activities / client relationships. Adaptability to digital literacy by evaluating which tools align with our project's unique needs and seamlessly adopting them. Expectation of Travel up to 25% on a monthly basis to job sites and consultants. A valid driver's license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons' ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of Boldt Real Estate or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or workspaces. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The ability to effectively communicate is required. The employee may occasionally move up to 15 pounds.
The working conditions of this position requires the employee to work inside an office environment. The environment for which this position functions may contain scents and fragrances. May be requested to work overtime and weekends.
