Job Summary:

The Staff Accountant will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong foundation in accounting practices, is proficient in data entry and analysis, and is committed to maintaining meticulous financial records.

Salary Ramge:

$21.60 - $25.00/hr. This is the pay we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Perform routine accounting duties including processing transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring they are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and reconciling discrepancies. Conduct regular bank reconciliations and assist in managing cash flow. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data. Maintain financial records and files, ensuring they are organized and up-to-date. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support as needed. Respond to accounting-related inquiries and provide assistance to the finance team. Participate in internal and external audits, providing required information and documentation. Stay informed about current trends and changes in accounting regulations. Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

2-3 years of experience in an accounting role in the hospitality industry. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data. Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to meeting deadlines and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $21.60/Hr. - $25.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
