In this role you will be responsible for performing analysis of budgets, forecasts and unbilled analysis needed to meet contractual/project requirements for R&D programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare program financial baselines - Initial budget, validate changes and maintain updated business plans over the life of each program with appropriate tracking of assumptions and related EAC and variances analysis. Support monthly program reviews: planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. Support development of standardized tools for project EAC process, including work plans, estimates and schedules, to ensure progress on milestones. Coordinates interdepartmental development of program plans and interfaces with program managers, business unit managers, finance, and accounts receivable to ensure that all the components of revenue are accounted for in accordance with the contractual terms: billing, credit. Prepare monthly account reconciliations and journal entries related to program accounting. Perform cost analysis: analyzing expenses and cost transactions to include (e.g., inventory purchases, labor costs, variances) for both programs and Mfg. production. Support internal and external auditors' reviews and ensures that full documentation and account reconciliations, including but not limited to, program estimates at completion, are provided in a timely manner. Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, and four (4) to six (6) years in FP&A or Program Accounting. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferable but not required. Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Infor ERP or related financial systems. Language Skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before large groups of customer, vendors, or employees.
