Key Responsibilities: Network Security Management:

Design, implement, and maintain network security policies, procedures, and controls. Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation. Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential threats.

Penetration Testing:

Conduct penetration tests on network systems, applications, and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including internal and external tests. Analyze and report on test results, providing actionable recommendations to enhance security posture.

Fortinet Equipment Management:

Configure, deploy, and manage Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and other security appliances. Ensure Fortinet solutions are optimized and up-to-date, addressing any performance or security issues. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Fortinet equipment and network security.

Cybersecurity Strategy:

Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices. Collaborate with other IT and security professionals to develop and refine security strategies. Provide expertise on cybersecurity trends and technologies, recommending improvements as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed documentation of network security configurations, incidents, and changes. Prepare and present security reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Compliance and Standards:

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies. Participate in audits and assessments to verify adherence to security requirements.

Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security, with a focus on service provider networks. Certifications:

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or Fortinet NSE are highly desirable. Technical Skills:

Proficiency in network security principles and practices. Hands-on experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate, Forti Analyzer, and Forti Manager. Expertise in penetration testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite). Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and firewall configurations.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of security.
