Key Requirements
Must be a local resident or have the ability to easily and permanently relocate to Oahu, HI. BSME (Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering) or related field. 8-15 years of commercial project management experience. Strong preference for prior engineering, preconstruction, and estimating experience. Must have experience managing large hospital and federal projects. Proficient in construction software like Bluebeam, scheduling and estimating tools. Responsibilities
Oversee all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning to completion. Manage all project resources, including budgets, schedules, and staff. Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals. Act as the main point of contact with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards. Apply project management methodologies and best practices to ensure successful project delivery. Review and interpret blueprints and project plans. Estimate project costs and timelines accurately. Identify and mitigate project risks. Conduct site visits and attend project meetings as required. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Report regularly on project status, progress, and forecasts to senior management. Skills and Qualifications
Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Proficiency in Bluebeam, scheduling, estimating, and other construction management software. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Thorough understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems, equipment, and materials.
