Location: San Jose, CA - Local candidates are strongly preferred, or candidates should be willing to relocate to the San Jose area permanently.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Bachelor's in Construction Management from an accredited institution. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in commercial plumbing project management. Experience with specialized projects, including but not limited to hospitals, schools, airports, and data centers. A stable work history indicating reliability and professional growth. Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam and MS Project. Core Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in overseeing commercial plumbing projects from initiation through completion. Participate in preconstruction activities, including estimating, scheduling, and planning. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Maintain and update project schedules using software tools like MS Project. Review and analyze construction documents using Bluebeam, ensuring they comply with project specifications and quality standards. Assist in procurement by vetting suppliers and subcontractors and help manage ordering materials and equipment. Track project milestones and deliverables, informing the Project Manager of any deviations or issues. Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders. Ensure all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Required Skills and Experience

Solid understanding of commercial plumbing systems, technologies, and best practices. Strong analytical skills for effective problem-solving and decision-making. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for clear and compelling correspondence and presentations. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently, focusing on quality and deadlines.
