Golightly is located in the 22-story Hotel Swexan in Uptown, Dallas. The Members’ only social club offers an elegant, stylish space profoundly influenced on European and international design, meaningful lifestyle experiences and uncompromising personalized service.

Golightly’s exclusive haven is a comfortable, residential-style space with 3 handsomely designed cocktail bars, multiple sophisticated salons, and an ornately designed private dining room. The Event Manager at Golightly is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-quality events that reflect the club's prestigious reputation and meet the specific needs of its members. This role combines strategic event planning with operational expertise to ensure seamless, memorable events that enhance the club’s atmosphere and member experience.

Essential Functions:

Work closely with club members to understand and fulfill event requests, tailoring each event to their preferences. Plan a range of events, including private functions, social gatherings, corporate events, and club-sponsored activities. Oversee event logistics, including timelines, budgets, vendor coordination, and staffing requirements. Coordinate with the culinary, bar, and facilities teams to ensure high standards for food, beverage, and overall ambiance. Establish and maintain relationships with trusted vendors (caterers, decorators, AV providers, etc.) to ensure quality and reliable service. Negotiate contracts and manage budgets effectively to align with the club’s financial goals. Act as the main point of contact for members hosting or attending events, ensuring their experience is exceptional. Provide personalized service and support, addressing member needs and handling special requests with discretion and professionalism. Supervise and manage event staff, including waitstaff, coordinators, and other support roles, to ensure smooth event execution. Gather member feedback post-event to continuously improve and tailor future offerings. Prepare event reports, including attendance, budget adherence, and feedback, for club management. Knowledge, Experience and Skills

3+ years of experience in event management, preferably within private clubs, luxury hotels, or high-end hospitality. Strong communication skills Strong organizational and project management skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with hospitality standards and experience in creating upscale event experiences. Critical thinking, solution-oriented Experience with a sales and catering system; i.e., Delphi and the like Ability to work a flexible schedule based on member and business needs Excellent customer service skills Passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success Effective teamwork skills Strong leadership skills Genuinely friendly interpersonal skills Entrepreneurial mentality – Must be a self-starter and have excellent time management skills. Ability to Build Data Spreadsheets Hotel and Competitive Market Knowledge a Plus Attention To Detail Physical Requirements

Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs; Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and climb steps regularly. Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
