The Project Quoting Manager will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing quotes for large-scale projects. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and clients. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of project quotes.
Responsibilities: Review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand customer requirements. Work cross functionally with Sales, Category management, and suppliers to gather the necessary information for the project/quote. Analyze cost factors, understand the market, and know the competition to determine accurate pricing recommendations for large projects. Utilize company pricing tools and software to prepare detailed and comprehensive project quotes. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing and availability information for materials and equipment. Provide support to the sales team during customer meetings and bid presentations. Maintain accurate records of quotes, revisions, and communications with customers and internal stakeholders. Continuously evaluate and improve the quoting process to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Develop and implement incentive programs tied to key performance indicators (KPIs) this role will grow into a project quoting team. Requirements
Preferred bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in project quoting or estimating, preferably within the industrial sector. Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and calculations. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Advanced in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Suite products.
