has an opportunity for an
Associate Project Manager
who will take responsibility for aspects of commercial installation projects in a building solutions environment. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with subcontractors & cross-functional teams and manage smaller projects independently whilst assisting Project Manager(s) on large projects.
This is an
onsite role
at the project locations and in our office in
Phoenix
with traveling up to 80 miles radius on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects i.e., follow project processes and provide direction to the Project Team
Complete projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time and customer satisfaction
Assist with managing and tracking the overall financial performance of projects i.e., project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections, and re-estimating costs of installation projects
Control the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders upon scope creep
Coordinate project materials; use shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any problems
Build relationships with sub-contractors, identify issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any matters
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2 years plus of experience with managing projects
1 year plus of Experience in Building Automation, HVAC controls, or commercial construction
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Control
PMP certification
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
Problem-solving, planning, and project management skills
Ability to read and understand the scope of work and blueprints
Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting
MS Office Suite
English written and verbal communication skills
