KI is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead our Materials management team at our Bonduel Manufacturing facility. The main responsibility of this position is to manage material purchases, build supplier relationships, and cover inventory management for the Bonduel location.
Responsibilities
Manage the department workflow and workload distribution and develop staff through task delegation, mentoring and training Manage resolution of supplier related issues (e.g. quality, delivery, support) Monitor market drivers and cost profile of plant specific commodities Identify and implement supplier consolidation opportunities Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers including supplier visits. Promote Cost Savings Ideas Program with suppliers and buyers. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business with an emphasis on Supply Chain preferred 10 years progressive experience in purchasing or related supply chain field ISM or APICS certifications are highly desirable What You Need to Succeed
Strategic and innovative thinker Analytic skills with the ability to break down complex problems Ability to lead teams resulting in positive outcomes Strong management skills Broad knowledge of purchasing principles and practices Strong verbal and written communication skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to learn other software programs What KI Offers You
