Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

AWS Administrator

to manage and maintain our AWS-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, management, and support of cloud-based systems, ensuring security, scalability, and high availability. The AWS Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud environments and implement best practices in system design and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities AWS Infrastructure Management : Deploy, configure, and manage AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and others. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.

Security & Compliance : Implement and manage security policies and access controls (IAM). Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Automation & Optimization : utomate routine processes using AWS tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible). Optimize resources and manage costs effectively using tools like AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor.

Monitoring & Logging : Set up and maintain monitoring solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, CloudTrail). Troubleshoot and resolve issues based on log analysis.

Backup & Recovery : Develop and manage disaster recovery plans. Ensure regular data backups and quick recovery mechanisms.

Collaboration : Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to support cloud-native application development. Provide guidance and training to team members on AWS technologies.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience:

Proven experience as an AWS Administrator or in a similar role. Hands-on experience with AWS services and tools. Experience in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or other languages. Certifications (preferred):

WS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) WS Certified SysOps Administrator WS Certified DevOps Engineer Technical Skills:

Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS architecture. Proficiency in networking concepts (VPC, DNS, Load Balancers, etc.). Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes (preferred). Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
