Description
Embodies Metrc's Leadership Principles Responsible for month-end close duties including reviewing, preparing, and maintaining recurring and ad-hoc journal entries Responsible for bringing efficiencies to the month-end close process to reduce days to close Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations Perform month-end general ledger research and variance analysis Provide support with tax returns and year end audit Work with other departments on the development and implementation of process and system improvements Perform special projects as determined by management May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience with multiple entity consolidation including international entities Experience with Sales &Use and Corporate Income Tax a plus Experience with Inventory and manufacturing accounting a plus Proficient in MS Excel Experience with Enterprise ERP software, NetSuite preferred 3+ years of accounting experience Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills Proven organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise records Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Can work independently and without supervision when required Must be able to work on-site 3 days per week in our Lakeland, FL office
Salary Description
$80,000-$100,000 plus bonus
