Chief Estimaor Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Estimator to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. The Chief Estimator will oversee all estimating activities, providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects, managing a team of estimators, and collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors. Chief Estimator Responsibilities * Lead the estimating team in preparing detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. * Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate. * Utilize historical data, subcontractor quotes, and industry best practices to develop cost models and estimates. * Coordinate and participate in bid reviews with senior management and project stakeholders. * Manage and mentor a team of estimators, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. * Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable partnerships. * Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and constraints. * Monitor market trends and industry changes to adjust estimating strategies and maintain competitiveness. Chief Estimator Position Requirements * Graduate from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or 15 years equivalent construction experience. * Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office products. * Highly motivated with an overwhelming desire to learn and advance your career as an employee-owner * ?
