Responsibilities for the role of Bookkeeper:
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, data entry, and record maintenance.
Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Reconcile financial statements, bank accounts, and general ledgers on a regular basis.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets.
Monitor and maintain petty cash transactions and reconcile them with receipts.
Prepare and submit timely tax forms and reports as required.
Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures, including account analysis and journal entries.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
Preferred Qualifications for the role of Bookkeeper:
Bachelors degree in accounting.
Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Experience and strong understanding of the general ledger and debits/credits.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
