Pivot Bio is seeking an experienced and innovative Brand Manager to lead and execute strategic marketing and product brand initiatives that support the company’s commercial growth, with a specific focus on Customer, Distribution and Sales Organization Marketing and Communications. This role will be instrumental in building our product brand narrative, amplifying our story, and driving engagement across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both corporate and product marketing communications, with the ability to lead high-impact campaigns that resonate with key stakeholders, including farmers, distribution and industry partners. The Brand Manager will report directly to the Senior Director of Marketing. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing communications strategy that aligns with Pivot Bio's product brands and commercial/sales goals. Lead the creation and distribution of engaging content for diverse channels, including organic and paid media. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, agronomy and innovation) to ensure cohesive marketing messaging and brand consistency across all touchpoints. Own the development and management of a robust content marketing strategy aimed at educating and engaging customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. Create high-quality, compelling marketing content including blog posts, customer case studies, sell-sheets, infographics, and videos that communicate Pivot Bio’s value proposition. Leverage SEO best practices to optimize content for digital channels, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement. Develop and manage a marketing editorial calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, product launches, and business milestones. Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to produce technical content that resonates with agricultural audiences. Oversee end-to-end project management for all marketing communications initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Implement and manage project tracking systems to monitor progress, set deadlines, and manage workflow for marketing communications campaigns. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets for product launches, events, and digital campaigns. Manage the marketing communications budget, providing accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting on campaign expenses. Lead the relationship with external marketing and product brand communications agencies, ensuring they deliver high-quality creative and strategic output. Act as the primary liaison between Pivot Bio and its agency partners, setting clear expectations and ensuring alignment on branding, messaging, and campaign goals. Oversee the development of briefs for agency partners, ensuring they fully understand the company’s objectives and target audiences. Monitor agency performance, holding them accountable to timelines, budgets, and KPIs, and providing feedback to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with agencies on the creation of assets such as advertising campaigns, digital content, videos, and public relations materials. Manage the budget allocation for external agencies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and transparency in reporting. Track and analyze the performance of marketing communications campaigns to measure impact and optimize future initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to the senior leadership team on campaign effectiveness, media coverage, and engagement metrics. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). 12+ years of experience in marketing communications, content marketing, or corporate communications, preferably in biotech, agriculture, or a science-driven industry. Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing strategies that drive customer engagement and lead generation. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple campaigns simultaneously and deliver high-quality work on time and on budget. Experience in managing external agencies, including creative, media, and PR firms, with a focus on delivering measurable results. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into compelling and accessible messages. Strategic thinker with the ability to balance both long-term vision and day-to-day execution. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems (CMS).
