The Director of Operations Strategy will be pivotal in driving operational efficiency and effectiveness across MedInsight. Primary Responsibilities: Lead Business Operations Transformation Initiatives:
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for assigned business operations transformation initiatives that align with organizational goals. Lead and manage transformation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. Identify and analyze key business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, to gain buy-in, support, and alignment for transformation initiatives. Develop and implement change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems across the organization. Define and track key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of transformation initiatives. Own Business Agreements:
Oversee and optimize the entire lifecycle of business contracts with external and internal parties. Partner with Executive and Senior Leaders to develop, write and negotiate favorable business terms. Work closely with internal departments such as legal, finance, and operations committees to ensure alignment and support for contract management activities. Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal standards. Ensure contract records and documentation is accurate, up-to-date and easy to retrieve. Ensure processes to evaluate vendor performance against contractual obligations, addressing any issues or discrepancies. Own Enterprise Analytics:
Develop, execute and continuously optimize business data analytic strategies to drive operational excellence. Partner with Executive and Senior Leaders to identify business data analytic needs and requirements, then translate objectives into actionable strategies and work plans. Lead Executive and Senior Leader report outs, identifying and preparing insights through routine reporting packages or ad hoc presentations. Oversee data analysis, reporting and business intelligence activities. Work closely with IT/infrastructure and other operations teams to establish data governance policies and practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Oversee Quality Risk Management:
Serve as subject matter expert on Milliman and MedInsight quality risk management policies, requirements and programs. Oversee and optimize internal processes to most efficiently and completely meet requirements. Oversee the execution of quality risk management programs to ensure appropriate information management, training, and adoption across the organization. Lead internal response to reviews and audits. People Leadership:
Directly supervise 1-5 staff with diverse skills and expertise. Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment that encourages high performance aligned to business objectives. Other responsibilities and special projects assigned by the Chief Business Officer. Preferred Skills and Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in business operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated experience in process improvement and project management. Demonstrated experience in business data analysis. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in business contractual knowledge and business risk management. Proficiency in using project management and business process software. Knowledge and comfort with AI and automation technologies. Strong preference for experience within the healthcare tech or data analytics environment or industry, leveraging expertise to drive operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees preferred. Compensation and Location: The salary range is $130,000 - $203,000, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This role will be based in our Seattle, WA office but flexible work arrangements will be considered.
