Partners with three dynamic teams in the Cockrell School of Engineering (CSE) Development Office to further the School's strategic priorities. Responsibilities: Manage up to three alumni/donor events throughout the fall and spring semester. Attend events to ensure smooth execution, resolving any problems or difficulties that arise. Represent the Cockrell School at events with a high level of professionalism and decorum. Monitor events budget and ensure expenses are made within the limits of allocated funding. Coordinate activities including facility identification, menu selection, guest lists, invitations, and audio/visual needs. Coordinate the planning, preparation, and execution of a variety of donor events. Execute the Endowment Impact Reporting process with support from the Associate Director of Stewardship. Handle gift acknowledgements for all CSE gifts. Partner with the Director of Industry Engagement on the top five companies investing in the Cockrell School of Engineering. Coordinate weekly shipping and receiving for events, stewardship, and the CSE Development team. Organize donor records for optimum utilization. Prepare general and customized reports to identified donors. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of experience in stewardship, event support or related fields. Experience in planning and executing events. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, work well under pressure, and manage details of several concurrent projects. Proven project management skills. Must be able to travel to visit prospects and donors. Work with integrity and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of relevant experience. Experience working in a large-scale research university. Salary Range:
$60,000+ depending on qualifications. Working Conditions:
May work around standard office conditions. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for events. Work Shift:
