As the Social Media Specialist, this role is incredibly important to the success of our channels as they are tasked with successfully bringing our social strategy to life. They'll play a crucial role in shaping our brand voice across our social channels and growing our online community by creating meaningful interactions with consumers. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and digital communicator with an unwavering passion for social media. This role involves contributing to the social media strategy, implementing community management strategies by fostering engagement across platforms, project managing the content development process by collaborating closely with creative and influencer teams, and developing content themselves at times. Key responsibilities include managing a social content calendar, content creation, handling content reviews/approvals, asset trafficking, copywriting and publishing, while managing all channel reporting with the manager. The specialist will also address consumer inquiries, scale new social media tools, and collaborate on integrated activation planning. Social listening, execution, and engagement are crucial, ensuring real-time monitoring can lead to pivots as needed. We are looking for a candidate who lives and breathes social media while enjoying the thrill of project management across an integrated ecosystem. Understanding the nuances of platforms, content styles, trends and formats, along with consumer preferences is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manning the Channels

Maintain social media calendars, including copywriting, planning, scheduling, and publishing while contributing to campaign strategies and amplification plans with the manager. Contribute to the development of organic social content pillars, helping to optimize through results found in reporting and community management. Collaborate with stakeholders on the legal process for social content, sweepstakes/contests, usage and more. Deliver monthly and quarterly reports, informing the brand of overall social engagement highlights and measuring performance based on key KPIs to generate data-driven insights and content recommendations. Keep a close pulse on the changes at the platform level, creating reports and real-time communications about opportunities for the brand, while staying close with brand reps at each platform. Collaborate with cross-functional partners including but not limited to, creative and influencer teams, PR team, brand and planning teams, legal and regulatory teams, email and CRM teams, plus others. Content Management

Bring a spirit of constant ideation with data-driven insights. Partner with creative teams to guide the content creation process by supporting the development of content briefs, content review/approvals, legal review decks, etc. Create lo-fi still or video content for organic social channels as needed. Mine for additional forms of content including UGC, ambassador/super fan content, repurposed content, etc. Participate in the vetting of potential influencers to ensure they meet the needs of our organic channels. Collaborate with the management of super fans and nano influencers. Work with Brand and Digital leads on content amplification plans. Provide regular reporting, including insights, opportunities, and competitive outlook for influencer content that is published live on organic channels. Community Management

Proactively respond and engage with consumers and prospects on social media channels, embodying the brand's voice with existing and potential followers in order to grow and maintain brand fans and advocates. Greet and engage influencers, VIPs and celebs who interact with the organic channels. Identify key consumers to strategically execute surprise and delight opportunities to build relationships on social media. Identify and escalate key topics, trends, or potential issues within the community to relevant internal teams, making recommendations for when/how the brand participates. Contribute to social media strategy development with insights from community interactions and trends. Implement community management strategies, respond to comments and messages, and foster engagement. Address consumer services inquiries on social platforms in partnership with cross-functional partners and Consumer Engagement teams to ensure product questions and complaints are addressed in the brand's voice and on time and collaborate on crisis management. Conduct real-time social listening across platforms natively and utilize social listening tools to identify insights and act on opportunities in real-time. Track community sentiment and providing regular reports on feedback, recurring questions, and common concerns to inform brand strategy and messaging. Scale new social media tools and solutions. Experience and Education Requirements

Minimum of 2-3 years experience in social media management representing a brand or organization. In-depth understanding of social media landscape. Fluent in what the modern consumer wants and needs. Completed Bachelors Degree. Exceptional understanding of the social media landscape, social trends, competitive landscape, best practices, and social analytics tools and metrics. Exceptional communication (written and oral) skills. Experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating and working successfully with multiple stakeholders and teams. Deep understanding of all social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok. Active participation in health and wellness/movement communities on these platforms is a plus. Comfortable creating content and/or being on camera is a plus. Willingness to learn and use project management tools like Monday.com, Airtable, and SharePoint. Preferred Skills

Experience with tools to lead social listening, publishing, content management, and more. Experience with CPG brands, including work with large brands and partner agencies. Creative and strategic thinking abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passion for health, wellness, and movement. Top consideration will be given to local candidates and those willing to relocate to Bridgewater, NJ; Chicago, IL; West Palm Beach, FL. The approximate pay range for this position is $55,000- $75,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
