As a
Digital Data Specialist
you will support the data optimization and strategy for Disruptor's marketing across all social platforms. This role drives strategy, execution, and improvement of digital marketing for all of label's current and prospective artists.
What you'll do: Implement best practices for bidding, budget management, ad operations, and reporting. Design and implement strategies to improve individual song performance, using existing audience data to target potential fans and drive streams on major DSPs. Support the documentation of optimizations and learnings to utilize data in making future marketing/rollout decisions specific to each artist. Facebook/Google/TikTok pixel implementation to gather audience data for remarketing and fan conversion. Educate internal teams/employees on campaigns, tests, results, and optimizations. Work closely with content creators to brainstorm creative ads tailored to each artist and campaign. Strong understanding of the influencer space and ability to source influencer marketing directly. Report and review all daily social stats for current and prospective artists (pre-saves, follower count, etc). General awareness/knowledge of social media trends (what is working and going viral now). Tracking/updating pre-saves, creates, etc. Driving data-based decision making on songs/tours/release dates/marketing spends. Running and maintaining all of our platforms - melody iq, creatorcore, featurefm, and laylo for all of our artists. Maintaining all artist social links/websites/platforms so that they are integrated and up to date. Running/cataloging influencer campaigns in conjunction with other product managers. Coordinating campaigns with finance to ensure payment to influencers.
Who you are: At least 2-5 years of hands-on media buying and/or planning experience preferably with a background in ecommerce or tech space. Proven ability to drive performance: specifically direct response campaigns. Advanced user of Google Ads and understanding of a niche targeting-based approach on YouTube. Advanced user of Facebook/Instagram/TikTok ad platforms. Ability to implement pixels on artist websites and other social platforms for data collection/remarketing purposes. Proven ability to thrive in highly collaborative work environments. Preference to work on the disruptive side of business, with new technology, innovation, and testing. Knowledge of statistical concepts relevant to optimizations. Strong familiarity with ad operations and campaign management (e.g. tagging, ad-servers, ad trafficking). Strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, attention to detail, innovation, and ability to work on extremely tight deadlines. Existing relationships within the influencer community. Knowledge of marketing platforms (Laylo, Featurefm).
