Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, such as restaurants, retailers, distributors, and wine clubs. Manage execution and compliance for all channels, and help develop annual business plan for designated market. Manage district budgets, including sales forecasts, marketing spends, and promotional expenses. Manage and develop wholesalers' capabilities to adopt and implement Banfi's brand strategies and objectives. Creates and introduces company brand programs and strategies and has direct responsibility for distributors in a geographic area. Call on retail, on premise, and chain accounts in conjunction with the distributor sales force or independently. Manage district budgets, including sales forecasts, marketing spends, and promotional expenses. Prepare and present regular performance reports, including sales performance, customer trends, and team productivity metrics, to senior management. Be prepared to work evening hours and weekend hours when necessary in order to accomplish whatever immediate goals or administrative tasks are required. Proven ability to drive sales and manage financial performance. Oversee day-to-day operations within each district location, ensuring smooth processes in sales, inventory management, and customer service. Ensure tasting rooms and retail outlets adhere to company standards for presentation, service quality, and brand image. The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

MUST Have at least 4 years of experience withiin the wine manufacturing or distribution industry Equivalent work experience could include supplier, distributor sales or wine industry management jobs Ideally 5-7 years of proven District Sales Manager experience (blend of both on-premise & off-premise accounts) Good oral communication and interpersonal skills. Incumbent must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Proven account management & or business development record across the industry. Multi-tasking / cross department work* - sales field be willing to take on responsibility & business & own it. Must be able to think outside the box and work in small company environment. Mathematical skills: Incumbent must have the ability to calculate and interpret financial data which effects everyday Banfi business Current valid driver's license. No DWI offenses or illegal use of drugs. Overnight travel as required and must be able to meet minimum requirement travel schedule for assigned territories Employee must comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations which govern the alcoholic beverage industry and maintain at all times the highest ethical business standards and fiduciary duty on behalf of the company and its customers.
