About the Position:
The incumbent is a Program Manager for the Civil Works Program Integration Division, Program Development Branch. Incumbent serves as the nationwide Program Manager of an assigned appropriation funding Civil Works projects and programs throughout the United States, or of major USACE-wide project-based program(s) within a Civil Works appropriation. One year of specialized experience which includes: 1. Track trends in resource usage to evaluate the civil works program to ensure funds are allocated properly; 2. Utilize policies, guidance and procedures to recommend, develop and implement changes to water resources project development; 3. Ensure fund allocation for emergency disaster response programs are in accordance with applicable policies, guidance, regulations, and appropriations bill; 4. Oversee all phases of program objectives for civil works projects to track status, progress, trends, and prospects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Program/Project Management Strategic Thinking Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
